To the moon, Mommy!
I took the kids to see Matt's concert last night in Council Bluffs. On our way home Gabby saw the moon out her window and the following conversation ensued:
Gabby: Mommy, look! I see the moon!
Me: I see the moon too Gabby. What color is the moon?
G: White
Me: Very good Gabby.
G: It's too bad we can't decorate the moon.
Me: What kind of decorations do you want to put on the moon?
G: Colorful balls and bows and stars and all kinds of beautiful things. How can we get to the moon momma?
Me: Sorry baby but we can't reach the moon. It's too high.
G: We can go to the moon if we have a rocket like Little Einsteins.
Me: We can pretend that Mommy's Acadia is a rocket.
G: Okay Captain Mommy, to the moon!
Gabby: Mommy, look! I see the moon!
